'Uncle Bob'

Bob Davidse, better known as 'Uncle Bob' passed away on Tuesday in Antwerp. If anyone could call himself a pioneer in the field of children television, it was him. Several generations grew up with this cheerful friend and like many others I learned how to play guitar with his booklet. Almost 90 he died peacefully while his son sang one of his songs...more of him on www.cobra.be/cm/cobra.

Introducing...2 Web 2 Apps...

Found another fun flickr app that gives some surprising results. Just tap in a paragraph of text, a poem, some lyrics or even just a few random words and FlickrPoet will find matching photos on Flickr based on a search of tags, titles and descriptions of the photos.

  

Flickr.Importer to Ipernity

This plugin makes it possible to import *all* your photos from Flickr.
What will be imported ?

• The original photo
• Title, description
• Dates (taken, uploaded)
• Share, permissions (to comment, to tag), license
• Latitude, longitude
• The first 50 tags

How to use?

• Install Greasemonkey and the plugin
• Go to your Flickr photos page and have a look at the bottom of page
• Click on "Import to ipernity" button at the bottom of page. This will import the first 180 photos.
• Redo this operation as many times as needed.
• This will NOT change or delete anything of your Flickr account
