Introducing...2 Web 2 Apps...
Found another fun flickr app that gives some surprising results. Just tap in a paragraph of text, a poem, some lyrics or even just a few random words and FlickrPoet will find matching photos on Flickr based on a search of tags, titles and descriptions of the photos.
This plugin makes it possible to import *all* your photos from Flickr.
What will be imported ?
What will be imported ?
- The original photo
- Title, description
- Dates (taken, uploaded)
- Share, permissions (to comment, to tag), license
- Latitude, longitude
- The first 50 tags
- Install Greasemonkey and the plugin
- Go to your Flickr photos page and have a look at the bottom of page
- Click on "Import to ipernity" button at the bottom of page. This will import the first 180 photos.
- Redo this operation as many times as needed.
- This will NOT change or delete anything of your Flickr account

The Ipad is a Fact.
And it seems a great gadget. To hang on your kitchen wall or to show off on your coffee-table. Don't get me wrong I am a (former) MacFan, but what has put me off lately is their Euro(pean) strategy. While the cheapest iPad will go in the States for 499 $, you can bet they will ship them to Europe for 499 €, and not for 355 €, which is the real equivalent. The latter being an agreeable price, but for 499 € you can buy already a fully equipped laptop. In fact we Europeans here are buying the same product at a third more the price it's actually worth. I find that a real ripoff and I don't see why Apple's Macintosh management and especially Steve Jobs doesn't see that. That is the main reason why I - and with me many Europeans - will most probably never buy it. Also because a big iPhone-clone tablet was expected, this special event was somewhat turn-off for me...

where I've been...
Some remarks on this map from Big Huge Labs
Serbia does not seem to work and I mostly traveled through
these places to get to Greece ASAP. Only saw a tiny bit
of Turkey, never felt "at ease" over there, and I did see
Albania from a boat...Places I still should visit in the EU
(in order of preference): Portugal, Denmark and maybe Ireland...
