There''s a show on national TV here in B called "Plat Preféré" where the chef/host brings back to life favorite dishes of famous men. People like Roald Dahl, Salvador Dali, Jacques Brel, Johnny Cash & Freddy Mercury, and the infamous Adolphe Hitler...The dish that Hitler - a vegetarian!- "allegedly" liked best was trout with butter sauce.The show was canceled and brought lively discussions (again). Instead he made a "Risotto ai funghi e tartufo" for . Maria Callas.I kinda felt sorry for the (much underestimated) trout and made my own version of it yesterday for dinner.
